Metawave is conquering the millimeter wave world of sensing and communication. Your Role: We are currently seeking an experienced Sr. Test Engineer / Test Engineering Lead to develop test systems for our next generation radar and communication products. As part of our fast-growing team, you will be involved from initial product design and design for test phase through manufacturing qualification and ramp. Responsibilities:
Lead the development of the test system architecture, hardware and software
Architect and design of test load boards for both in-house initial testing phase and outsourced ATE production testing phase
Work with test socket vendors and our internal engineering teams to select the right socket technology, signal integrity, and thermal solutions to support test requirements
Manage the design of the test system: block diagrams, schematics, component selection, mechanical and thermal design
Perform data capture and analysis
Perform test system calibration, correlation, gage R&R, and plan for release
Drive the execution of product testing to meet customer delivery schedules
Minimum Qualifications: Experience
Deep knowledge and a proven track record in the development of high frequency RF/microwave component test systems in commercial, automotive, or military industry
Thorough understanding of fundamental test concepts and calibrated test data collection methodologies at high frequencies for product parameters such as s-parameters, gain, phase, noise, linearity and return loss.
Extensive experience in load board design for interfacing with standard ATE production grade test equipment.
Solid experience in test system hardware design and test code development, schematics, component selection, mechanical and thermal design
Proficient with various commercial data capture and data analysis software
Hands-on experience with high frequency test equipment, calibration, de-embedding, correlation, and gage R&R
Work well independently and as part of a team with good communication skills.
Education
BSEE and 8+ years of test engineering and test system development experience
Preferred Qualifications:
MSEE
10+ years of test engineering and test system development experience
High volume, outsourced production test experience
High frequency (microwave or millimeter-wave) product testing experience
PCB design experience
Test interface design experience
