Your Role: We are currently looking for a strong project management leader for Metawave product applications. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated excellence in understanding product cycle and managing schedules, deliverables and resources. ​ Responsibilities:

  • Drive product & project execution and innovation

  • Engage with our engineering & product teams to understand gaps with existing products and services

  • Reach out to users and clients regularly to understand gaps in existing products and understand future product needs

  • Own and create comprehensive product specifications

  • Lead and collaborate on all business readiness activities including product testing, end user education, rollout, iteration and support

  • Develop product metrics to foster a culture of data driven decision making

​ Minimum Qualifications: Experience

  • 5 years’ experience in product & project management

  • Technical experience with analytical tools, methodologies, and design

  • Experience working with senior leaders to drive business decisions

  • Define the project requirements and manage project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Update the project schedule and communicate changes to all involved parties using appropriate tools and templates.

  • Manage and leads key resources in the delivery of project in partnership with the customer to ensure acceptance, project closeout and transition.

  • Successfully plot and manages critical path.

  • Work with leads to prepare schedule and plan for development, test, production.

  • Maintain Project Documentation.

  • Coordinate and confirm deliverables.

  • Assess and manage project variances (e.g. schedule variance); evaluate impacts to overall project commitment.

  • Proactively identify and manage risks to produce an effective plan and risk assessment to keep with timelines and budgets.

  • Ensure formal review and approval procedures.

  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders (customer, subcontractors and Metawave team).

  • Manage expectations.

  • Create project budget and gain approval.

  • Track the project costs and support team in meeting milestones.

  • Accurately plan and update resource utilization for projects.

  • Escalate any conflicting resource requirements that may affect the delivery outcome.

  • Request additional resources when required in a timely manner.

  • Learn and understand the contract terms of vendor and customer relationships.

  • Accurately produce project highlight reports.

  • Provide tactical leadership regarding project priorities, timeline, resources, and issues.

  • Provide performance feedback for team members as appropriate. Chairs lessons learned meetings.

Education

  • BS Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

​ Preferred Qualifications:​

  • MBA in business processes for technology

  • Project Management certification, preferred

  • Experience in the Automotive Industry

  • Previous experience with startups transitioning to growth stage and beyond
